I have been a community resident for almost 25 years. I love to see all children achieve success and an entire community become prosperous and respected. In recent years, people having special interests have totally disrupted the fabric and the foundation upon which this fine city was founded upon. It was for these reasons, that I and my family became involved in systemic issues affecting children, and the entire Mount Vernon community.
I am a registered Democrat, community activist, past PTA President of 3 different schools in Mount Vernon, and formerly appointed to the School Board for about 6 months. I bring a unique and focused perspective to school issues. I have no outside interests, other than those affecting the quality of life for the children and residents of Mount Vernon.
If you are reading this and believe that accountability, responsibility and respect need to be brought back to the Mount Vernon City School District, then vote for me as YOUR voice that will continue to promote and do what is in the best interest of our children, and not just for individuals or specific concerns.
